Construction Material Testing is seeking a Coatings Inspector I to perform basic inspections under a CIP Level 2 or 3 supervisor. Qualifications

• AMPP CIP Level 1 certification is required and current.
• 1+ years in industrial coatings application or inspection preferred.
• Meticulous with instruments and logs; accurate data recording.

Responsibilities

• Measure ambient conditions (temperature, humidity, dew point) before and during application.
• Verify surface prep against SSPC/NACE cleanliness and profile standards.
• Measure wet and dry film thickness; check for holidays/defects.
• Verify coating materials, batches, mixing, and pot life per data sheet.
• Maintain daily coating inspection log and photograph each stage.
