Nippon Paint Automotive Americas, Inc. is seeking a customer-focused lab technician to support paint and panel preparation, customer correlation work, and record-keeping under supervisor guidance.

Responsibilities include performing test panels with hand-spray equipment, documenting results, communicating with chemists and field teams, and traveling as needed to support customers and projects, using NPAA processes and standard lab practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or other science field with 2 years relevant experience.
• Willing and able to travel and work overtime as required.
• Strong work ethic, able to work well with minimal supervision.
• Adapts well to priority shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with paint and panel preparation and project support under supervisor.
• Maintain records and generate monthly reports.
• Use hand-spray equipment to generate test/evaluation panels and learn application methods.
• Communicate technical information to chemists, managers, and customers.
• Travel with NPAA personnel to support customer needs when required.
• Adhere to NPAA processes for lab-to-plant-to-customer tasks.
