Job summary

NPAA is seeking a customer-focused lab professional to support paint and panel preparation, customer correlation work, record keeping, and other product-support activities under supervision.

You will apply coatings chemistry knowledge, operate hand-spray equipment, communicate results to chemists and managers, and travel with NPAA personnel to assist customers as needed. This role offers growth within NPAA and opportunities to work with a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or other science field with 2 years relevant experience.
• Willing and able to travel and work overtime as required.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Adapts well to priority shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform paint and panel preparation and associated lab work as assigned.
• Maintain records and prepare customer/product support materials.
• Communicate results to chemists and management, and document findings.
• Move tasks through established NPAA processes to ensure timely completion.
• Support field team and travel as needed.
