Qualifications

• College level science coursework.
• BS in physical science preferred.
• 5+ years lab experience in coatings or adhesives preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to handle solvents and chemicals with PPE.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• A self-starter with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist R&D Chemists by preparing materials and supporting formulation tasks.
• Manufacture lab-scale batches of insulation and adhesive formulations with accuracy.
• Conduct product testing including application trials and performance evaluation.
• Apply coatings and conduct evaluations per testing protocols.
• Develop competency in color matching for coatings and adhesives.
• Maintain organized records of lab activities and testing results.
• Present data and findings to lead chemist or R&D team.
• Ensure laboratory safety protocols are followed.
