Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation in the United States is seeking a Coating Operator to support the B Team on dayshift, 7a-7p (2-2-3). You will lead machine set ups, manage changeovers, and coordinate preventive maintenance on coating lines while ensuring safety and quality.

Responsibilities include loading raw materials, controlling machine cycles, running tests with standard devices, and recording production data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience.
• Commitment to safety as a core value and PPE usage.
• Strong quality and service focus.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend documents related to product manufacturing.
• Willingness to work overtime (including weekends).

Responsibilities

• Lead machine set ups and changeovers on coating lines.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance (PMs).
• Make adjustments to optimize production.
• Load raw material into the machine and unload finished product.
• Monitor meters, gauges, temperatures, pressures and related controls.
• Maintain production records and logs of equipment and product performance.
• Support safety, quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Teamwork and cross-training across stations.
