Job summary

Mativ is hiring a Coating Assistant to support the Sustainable & Adhesive Solutions Function in Windsor, CT. This role sets up and operates coating machines, applying adhesive to release liners and substrates while maintaining a clean room appearance and adhering to safety standards.

You will handle wet and dry end operations, assist with changeovers, document data entry, manage inventory accuracy, and contribute to continuous improvement while working a 12-hour shift from 6am to 6pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Fluent English (verbal and written), basic math and reading.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to read measuring devices.
• Good computer skills for data entry.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate coating machines.
• Apply adhesive to release liners and substrates.
• Maintain clean room appearance and safety standards.
• Assist with changeovers and routine maintenance.
• Enter data into computer systems and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Report quality issues or machine malfunctions.
