Job summary

Tru Vue Inc. is seeking a Process Technician to operate the coating line production system, calibrate instruments, and tune-in optical coatings. You will work with production staff to monitor yields and troubleshoot defects, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires a technical degree, manufacturing experience, and comfort with analytical equipment and vacuum systems. Strong data recording and cross-training abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in technical field desirable.
• Two years’ work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to use analytical equipment and computers.
• Familiarity with the operation and control of a vacuum system.
• Process Control experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Quality systems preferred.
• Demonstrated ability for detail orientated work and organization.
• Strong math aptitude.
• Computer skills and working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook and the ability to maintain electronic quality records.

Responsibilities

• Operate gas system, power supplies, drive system, vent and pumping systems.
• Operate all testing equipment required for the position.
• Check calibrations and troubleshoot instruments.
• Prepare samples for experiments and long term environmental testing.
• Conduct tune-in and design control of Tru Vue optical coatings.
• Monitor yields and work with other Technicians to troubleshoot defects and minimize yield loss.
• Record information at established intervals and maintain data records.
• Assist in development of work instructions and train team members.
• Assist with troubleshooting of entire system.
