Job summary

Mativ is seeking a Coating Machine Operator in New Berlin, WI. The role is responsible for the efficient operation of the coating machine and product quality on a day shift with a rotating schedule (6am-6pm, every other weekend).

You will set up and operate the coating machine, mix chemicals per ISO instructions, and maintain cleanliness in the white room and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include checking materials against work orders, completing documentation, and performing minor

Qualifications

• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic documents.
• Ability to write and interpret shift correspondences/memorandums.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements.
• Attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Teamwork and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Check quality and quantity of raw materials against work orders.
• Set up and operate coating machine per sheet and with Senior Coater Operator.
• Mix chemicals per ISO instructions.
• Maintain clean room conditions and housekeeping in Coating Production area.
• Complete necessary paperwork for the job run and ensure accuracy of materials used.
• Report problems to Shift Supervisor or Senior Coater Operator.
• Perform basic maintenance on coating machines.
