Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules, procedures, and technical instructions.
• Must be able to complete Forklift certification and a-Scan certification.
• Basic math skills, including converting units (grams to pounds).
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Able to complete reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to follow instructions in various formats.
• Team player who can also work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform coating machine operation and make batches for the coater while maintaining continuous machine operation.
• Complete cleaning/sanitization of coating machines according to guidelines.
• Troubleshoot routine issues while maintaining product quality and reducing waste; adjust machines as needed.
• Perform quality checks and document results accurately.
• Set up or change over machines, loading components, solution, and packaging materials.
• Maintain a safe, clean production line and work area.
• Assist with waste removal from line or plant.
• Observe all safety and quality procedures while completing duties.
• Process all required paperwork accurately and timely.
