Zusammenfassung

TurbineAero, Inc. is seeking a Coating Operator/Chemical Stripping for aerospace production. You will operate coating furnaces and related equipment, load and unload parts, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities include handling coating powders, reading drawings, and wearing PPE. Two years’ experience and a high school diploma are required, with aerospace experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.

This position operates automatic and manual coating furnace equipment of varying complexity in various production processes in accordance with operating procedures.

Coating Operator/Chemical Stripping - Aerospace Job Duties

• Equipment includes powder mixers, powder sifters, grit blast machines, coating furnaces, coating control panels.
• Performs packing of parts into tooling and filling with coating powders.
• Performs loading/unloading as well as starting/ending of coating runs in the coating furnace.
• Performs unloading of parts from tooling and demasking masked parts.
• At the discretion of the Shift Supervisor (Lead) the employee may be required to work in other departments to help maintain the flow of production to meet customer commitments.
• Equipment includes mixers, grinders, filter presses, dryers. Filtering equipment, pumps, and filling machines.
• Performs quality control analyses as required to complete in-process batches and identifies variations.
• Processes may generate high pressure and/or critical reactions and requires training in hazardous material handling and emergency procedures.
• At the discretion of the Shift Lead the employee may be required to work in other departments to help maintain the flow of production to meet customer commitments.

Coating Operator - Aerospace Job Requirements

• The work environment: temperature, noise levels, inside or outside, or other factors that might affect the person’s working conditions while performing the job.
• The physical demands of the job include standing, bending, sitting, lifting, ability to lift 50lbs, and forklift driving.
• Coating furnace operations
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge
• High school diploma/GED, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience involving similar equipment, processes, tools and machining operations.
• Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Must be able to pass a Fit Test, wear a respirator and required PPE.
• Preferred Education and Experience:
• Prior Aerospace industry experience
