Job summary

MSN Pharmaceuticals Inc. in Piscataway, NJ, is seeking an experienced Tablet Coating Operator to join our production team. You will execute manufacturing processes per BMR/SOPs, perform changeovers, cleaning, and setup, and ensure clean, compliant operations.

The role requires 3+ years in tablet coating within pharmaceutical manufacturing, solid GMP knowledge, and flexibility for extended hours to meet schedules. Training on SOPs will be provided; DEA SOPs compliance is also required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as Tablet Coating Operator in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.
• Must have work experience in the pharmaceutical industry to be considered.
• Minimum successful completion of High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexibility to work additional hours as required by the organization.
• Solid knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Salary based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing processes in accordance with BMR and SOPs.
• Perform machine changeovers, cleaning and setup as per SOPs.
• Ensure area and equipment cleanliness and setup in stipulated time.
• Prepare area and equipment for line clearance and check balance/calibration.
• Receive material from dispensing and verify labeling per BMR.
• Wear PPE as per SOP/BMR before starting process.
• Operate equipment as per area of operation.
• Coating operators must have knowledge of Tablet Coating Machine.
• Troubleshoot and adjust equipment to meet BMR specs.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs and cGMPs throughout manufacturing.

MSN Pharmaceuticals Inc. is one of the fastest-growing, research-based generic pharmaceutical companies. We are expanding and looking for experienced professionals to join our Production Department at our state-of-the-art facility in Piscataway, NJ.

• Execute manufacturing processes in accordance with BMR and SOPs requirements.
• Perform machine changeovers, cleaning and set up as per SOPs.
• Ensure area & equipment for cleanliness and setup in stipulated time.
• Prepare area and equipment for line clearance, replace room filters, ensure verification and calibration of balance/scale and check pressure differential for the rooms.
• Ensure line clearance status before initiating manufacturing activities in any area.
• Receive material from dispensing and check dispensed materials and labeling as per BMR.
• Wear appropriate PPE as stated in the SOP/BMR before initiating process.
• Able to operate equipment as per their area of operation.
• Coating operators must have adequate Knowledge of Tablet Coating Machine and should be able to operate the machine with minimum or no assistance.
• Troubleshoot and make appropriate adjustments to equipment to have product within BMR specifications.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards during all stages of the manufacturing process.
• Complete manufacturing documents on time, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain compliance at all times with related SOPs and cGMPs in the manufacturing process.
• Perform duties through the proper, safe use of equipment, according to Health & Safety procedures and Equipment Manuals.
• Flexible to work extended hours, to achieve manufacturing schedule when needed.
• Responsible for following DEA Controlled Substance SOPs and report any violation immediately to Supervisor/Manager.
• Responsible for training on all relevant SOPs before start of process/activities in manufacturing.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Other duties communicated time to time by management.

Education, Experience and Job Qualification Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as Tablet Coating Operator in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.
• Must have work experience in the Pharmaceutical industry to be considered.
• Minimum successful completion of High school diploma or equivalent.
• Should be flexible for working additional hours as per organization requirement.
• Solid knowledge of fundamental cGMP and regulatory requirements in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
