Job summary

MSN Pharmaceuticals Inc. in Piscataway, NJ, is seeking an experienced Tablet Coating Operator to join our Production Department.

You will ensure continuous operation of packaging line systems, perform setup and routine maintenance, and collaborate with engineering to install new equipment. The role requires 3+ years in tablet coating, strong cGMP knowledge, ability to work independently, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as Tablet Coating Operator in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and complete work orders professionally and timely.
• Strong understanding of packaging activities.
• Ability to troubleshoot and document procedures clearly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous functioning of packaging line systems and equipment.
• Set up manufacturing and packaging equipment; perform routine maintenance; minor electrical troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with engineering to install and commission new equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair packaging line systems including liquid, powder, tablet filling and secondary packaging.
• Perform system modifications and root cause analysis; document repairs.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts for replacements.
• Perform preventive maintenance and follow PM schedules.
• Document work in equipment logbooks and communicate during shift handoffs.
• Train team members on equipment issues to prevent recurrence.
• Adhere to cGMP, SOP, Lock Out Tag Out, OSHA regulations.

Job description

MSN Pharmaceuticals Inc. is one of the fastest-growing, research-based generic pharmaceutical companies. We are expanding and looking for experienced professionals to join our Production Department at our state-of-the-art facility in Piscataway, NJ.

• The process mechanic will be responsible for the continuous functioning of various types of manufacturing packaging line systems and equipment within the Packaging and manufacturing departments.
• The role will perform the setup of manufacturing and packaging equipment, routine maintenance, repair, minor electrical troubleshooting, and also partner with engineering team to install and commission new Manufacturing and process equipment’s.
• Troubleshoot and repair all packaging line systems and equipment’s including liquid filling, powder filling, tablet filling and all secondary packaging equipment’s.
• Perform system modifications of the existing lines as needed
• This includes root cause analysis problem identification, referencing technical documentation, assessment of material requirements, requisition placement, and actual repair
• Responsible for maintain inventory for spare parts for the replacement of parts
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure all packaging equipment functions properly as well as follow and execute the preventative maintenance schedules.
• Provide accurate and timely documentation work in the equipment logbooks, communications, and verbally to coworkers during shift hand offs
• Train team members on equipment issues to eliminate future occurrences
• Solid understanding of cGMP practices and concepts, SOP, Lock Out Tag Out, and OSHA regulations required

Education, Experience and Job Qualification Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as Tablet Coating Operator in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.
• Must have work experience in the Pharmaceutical industry to be considered.
• Minimum successful completion of High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work independently and complete work orders in a professional and timely manner.
• Have an excellent understanding of Packaging activities.
• Can provide troubleshooting methods and baseline rational on what procedures to follow and document described situations.
