Job summary

Quanex is seeking a Coating Line Operator for the 2nd shift at our Owatonna, Minnesota site. The role involves hanging parts before coating, loading and unloading, and supporting material movement with a focus on safety and quality.

The position runs Monday to Thursday, 3:30pm–2:00am, with an hourly wage of $18.50. We offer a 401K with company match, ESPP, disability and life insurance, paid time off, and tuition support as part of a dynamic, team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Awareness of quality standards and ISO processes.

Responsibilities

• Hang parts on fixtures prior to coating.
• Remove parts after coating and place in containers.
• Move materials between equipment and work areas.
• Rotate between positions and equipment as needed.
• Maintain quality by following SOPs and ISO guidelines.
• Verify quantities and part identifications to resolve discrepancies.
