Job summary

Quanex is seeking a Coating Line Operator on a part-time, 2nd shift basis in Owatonna, Minnesota. The role runs Monday–Thursday with shifts from 3:30pm–9:00pm or 9:00pm–2:00am.

You will hang parts on fixtures before coating, then unload and move coated parts to containers. Experience in manufacturing is preferred but not required, and the company offers a range of benefits including a 401(k) match, ESPP participation, life insurance, disability coverage, PTO/holidays, and tuition support.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to hang parts on fixtures and move materials.

Responsibilities

• Hang parts on fixtures prior to coating.
• Remove parts after coating and place in containers.
• Rotate between positions and equipment as instructed.
• Follow safe work procedures to prevent injuries.
• Maintain quality and ISO standards during production.
• Verify quantities and part IDs to resolve discrepancies.
