Wolverine Advanced Materials is seeking a Material Inspector to visually examine coated materials for defects and ensure conformance to specifications. You will log defects, coordinate with coating line operators, and assist with line setup and changeovers.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math, and ability to use measurement tools. This is a on-site position with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; basic computer and keyboard use.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short memos and to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic math and use measurement tools.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Inspect coated material for defects and conformance to specifications.
• Record defects and information on hourly and defect logs.
• Communicate with coating line operators for issues.
• Cut material samples at start and end of each master coil.
• Assist in line setup, changeovers and start/stop of coating line.
• Clean tools, equipment, and work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
