Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring for a Coating Inspector on the 1st shift in Mankato, MN. The position is a temporary role that pays $18.00 per hour with weekly payroll.

You will operate automated coating equipment, inspect assemblies for quality, and document production data while following drawings and specifications. This role requires attention to detail and reliability in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or stated.
• Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination needed.
• Good vision and finger dexterity.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Willingness to cross-train in other positions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate automated coating equipment.
• Inspect coated assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform hand touch-up coating as needed.
• Enter production and quality data into computer systems.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to complete work accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisors and managers.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate automated coating equipment
• Inspect coated assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
• Perform hand touch-up coating as needed
• Enter production and quality data into computer systems

• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisors and managers

What You Need to Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent

• IPC-A-610 training preferred, but not required
