Job summary

Liberty Diversified International Minnesota is seeking a Coater Production Technician who will operate as a Utility Technician, Winder Operator and train for Coater Head Operator. The role combines hands-on equipment maintenance, PMs, safety protocols and shift work on a 12-hour rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays at our New Hope, MN site.

The position emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safe practices and ability to handle heavy equipment, with opportunities to advance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience required.
• Mobile Equipment and Overhead Crane certified.
• Ability and desire to work rotating 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect equipment and controls for malfunctions, hazards, and leaks.
• Perform PMs and assist with maintenance and repairs; log work orders.
• Execute LOTO procedures and facilitate shift relief with elogger details.
• Train team members to learn duties and machine responsibilities.
• Operate and monitor the coater, winder, and related processes per specifications.
• Assist with coating prep, waste handling, and supply restocking.
