Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc. in Alliance, OH is hiring a Coater Operator to set up and operate coating equipment, ensuring a quality product in a safe environment. The role is fully on-site with a Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm schedule and a starting rate of $24.49 per hour.

Responsibilities include PPE, machine setup, parameter adjustments, quality checks, and coordination with Quality for testing. Benefits are offered and growth opportunities exist within a global copper and alloy manufacturer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wear all required PPE.
• Install arbors and backup roller to fit material assigned to work order.
• Install coating cylinder per the Process Parameter Card.
• Check rollers for scratches, abrasions, and coating buildup.
• Set machine parameters (speed, temp) per the Process Parameter Card.
• Inspect and verify coating before mixing.
• Mix coating per the Process Parameter Card.
• Inspect material before inserting into machine to meet customer specs.
• Inspect material and coating for defects during processing.
• Monitor machine for safe operation.
• Adjust parameters to ensure a quality product.
• Reinspect material after running to meet customer/quality requirements.
• Complete all work order paperwork and quality lab documentation.
