Job summary

A leading coating company located in New Carlisle, IN is seeking a Coil Coater Operator for day shifts (4am-4pm). Responsibilities include preparing paint, operating coating machines, and monitoring quality. Requirements include 1-3 years of manufacturing experience and coating knowledge. Qualifications

• 1-3 years of previous manufacturing experience required.
• Previous coating experience preferred.
• Forklift and/or overhead crane experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare paint totes or drums in advance for the line.
• Set up and operate the coater as directed.
• Verify correct paint in pans, agitate and warm up as needed.
• Monitor machine gauges to detect defects and make adjustments.
• Change pick-up and applicator rollers as needed.
• Perform periodic inventory of paints and document usage.
