First Coast Veterinary Specialists & Emergency in Jacksonville Beach, FL is seeking a Board Certified or Residency Trained Veterinary Surgeon to join a collaborative specialty and emergency hospital. You will work with a respected team of surgeons, clinicians, and technicians dedicated to mentorship and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Board-certified veterinary surgeon; eligibility for state licensure.
• Board certification or residency training in veterinary surgery.
• Excellent communication and client-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Balance consultations, case workups, and surgical procedures.
• Perform orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries with advanced imaging and equipment.
• Collaborate with other specialties for integrated case management.
• Contribute to growth of the surgical service in line with hospital priorities.
• Work with a dedicated surgical nursing and support team to deliver care.
• Communicate clearly with pet owners during stressful times.
