Job summary

The Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (CPRA) seeks a content developer (writer) to craft and refine material for the agency website, blog, and social media, to raise awareness of Louisiana's coastal program and projects.

The role requires strong writing skills, ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and the capacity to translate policy and programs into clear, engaging narratives for diverse speakers and audiences.

Qualifications

• Strong writer with ability to develop content for website, blog and social media.
• Experience in conservation or coastal resource protection is a plus.
• Writing samples must be attached to the online application.
• Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Capable of communicating stories, policy, progress, programs and initiatives clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine content for agency website, blog, and social media.
• Prepare speeches, talking points, and PowerPoint narrative as needed.
• Coordinate communications for multiple speakers and topics and ensure consistency of messaging.
• Support large-scale advocacy projects to promote our coast campaigns.
