Job summary

Bayview Physicians Group is seeking a Hospitalist to provide comprehensive, inpatient care across Southeast Virginia. You will work with an experienced team to evaluate admissions, develop treatment plans, and coordinate discharge planning in a hospital setting.

The role offers competitive pay ($300,000–$380,000) with performance incentives, signing bonus, relocation allowance, and full medical benefits. J1 visa support is available for limited positions.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Experience as a hospitalist or inpatient physician is preferred.
• Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and commitment to value-based care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients admitted to the hospital, obtain histories, perform exams, and develop initial treatment plans.
• Manage acute medical conditions, order/interpret tests, prescribe medications, adjust treatment as needed.
• Conduct daily rounds, reassess patients, review labs/imaging, and coordinate discharge planning.
