NJ Department of Environmental Protection is seeking a program-focused position with the Fish and Wildlife division in Millville, NJ. The role involves coordinating habitat enhancement efforts, reviewing grants, and performing field visits to support coastal resiliency projects.

The candidate will work under supervision, following regulations, collecting data, and engaging with the public as needed. A bachelor’s degree in science or engineering is required, and drivers license may be necessary

Formación

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in one of the Physical Sciences, Environmental Sciences/Studies, Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences, or related fields.
• All U.S. degrees must be from accredited institutions; foreign degrees must be evaluated for accreditation before the closing date.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate planning, design and implementation of habitat enhancement projects within the Wildlife Management Area System, with emphasis on coastal and marsh habitats and coastal resiliency.
• Review grant proposals and project plans; coordinate with other Fish and Wildlife bureaus as needed.
• Perform site visits and field work under supervision.
