The NJ Department of Environmental Protection is seeking a candidate to join the Fish and Wildlife division in Millville. Under supervision, you will learn to conduct routine surveys, investigations, and inspections to monitor environmental conditions and help enforce environmental laws.

Specific duties include coordinating habitat enhancement projects, reviewing grant proposals, and performing site visits with a focus on coastal and marsh habitats and resiliency projects, coordinating with

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical/Environmental/Engineering fields as specified.
• Ability to follow regulations and procedures; work with the public.
• Experience with field data collection and site visits preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct routine surveys, studies, inspections, and investigations to monitor environmental conditions and enforce environmental laws.
• Coordinate habitat enhancement projects within Wildlife Management Area System, focusing on coastal and marsh habitats and resiliency efforts.
• Review grant proposals and project plans; perform site visits and collaborate with other bureaus.
