Job summary

The Foth Companies are seeking a Lead Environmental Regulatory Specialist/Project Manager to oversee environmental and regulatory projects across the Northeast from our hybrid offices in the Northeast region.

The role emphasizes coordinating fieldwork, permitting, and client relationships while leading technical reporting and project teams. A decade of relevant experience and a strong permitting background are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Coastal, Civil, or Environmental field
• Minimum 10 years in a similar environmental engineering role
• Experience with private-sector or government environmental, engineering or construction work
• Proven track record delivering local/state/federal permitting in MA and RI
• Experience with EPA NPDES permits and local zoning/planning boards
• Experience reviewing architectural/engineering plans

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple environmental, regulatory, and coastal/waterfront projects across the Northeast
• Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and key stakeholders
• Lead project teams, proposals, RFQ/RFP responses, and client presentations
• Coordinate fieldwork, permitting, and regulatory approvals
• Supervise environmental and reporting deliverables including EIS and environmental assessments
• Support business development and client relationship management
