Job summary

The Longboard Sullivan’s Island is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, coach a large team, and deliver warm, elevated hospitality on Sullivan’s Island. This role supports the General Manager in building a cohesive team and maintaining exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a full-service, high-volume dining restaurant.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent communication and guest service focus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure positive guest service and resolve complaints.
• Build relationships with guests to promote loyalty.
• Assist with staffing plans, interviewing, and hiring.
• Supervise employees, discipline, training, development, and reviews.
• Develop employees with feedback and performance expectations.
• Lead shifts, scheduling, quality, and cleanliness.
• Ensure safety, health compliance, and proper policies.
• Complete administrative duties accurately and on time.
• Enforce cost controls and sales initiatives.
• Report accidents promptly.
