You will lead design and oversight of coastal structures, conduct site investigations, and perform structural analysis to ensure safe, sustainable marine projects.

The role requires a degree in Civil Engineering with coastal/structural specialization, 6+ years’ experience, ECSA Pr. Eng., and proficiency in coastal software and modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a Coastal/Structural specialization.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in coastal infrastructure design and management.
• ECSA registration as Pr. Eng.
• Proficiency in coastal engineering software and numerical modeling.
• Strong understanding of hydraulics, wave mechanics, and marine construction techniques.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the construction of coastal structures such as breakwaters, seawalls, jetties, and pipelines.
• Conduct site investigations, including bathymetric surveys and environmental impact assessments, for coastal projects.
• Perform structural analysis and design, considering wave loads, marine corrosion, and geotechnical conditions.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices for coastal zone management.
• Collaborate with marine biologists, geotechnical engineers, and construction teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and cost estimates for coastal engineering projects.
