Job summary

FCCMA seeks an accomplished municipal executive to lead Surfside's town management, oversee capital projects, and coordinate policy execution with the Town Commission. The ideal candidate brings broad operational management experience and a track record of delivering complex initiatives.

Strong communication, consensus-building, and knowledge of municipal law are essential. A Master’s degree and ICMA-CM credentials are preferred but not required; substitution rules apply per the qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
• Extensive experience in a responsible administrative or management role in municipal government.
• Thorough knowledge of laws and policies governing municipal operations.
• Ability to build consensus and communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Substitution of training/experience for minimum qualifications is acceptable.
