Job summary

Hilton Garden Doheny is seeking a Bartender to deliver exceptional service at the Doheny Surf Restaurant + Bar and Longboard Rooftop Lounge. You will manage beverage service, maintain knowledge of menus, and assist guests with recommendations in a dynamic coastal setting.

The role requires prior hotel/bar experience, a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, and strong English communication. Safety, sanitation, and guest satisfaction are key priorities in this hands-on position.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience in a hotel setting.
• Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work weekends, holidays and overnight shifts.
• Exceptional customer service and English communication skills required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced bar and pool area.

Responsibilities

• Guest services & operations: perform service standards, answer questions about food & beverages and facilities, know menus and recipes, deliver items promptly, prepare and serve drinks, garnish as needed, restock bar inventory, record drink orders in Micros PMS, adhere to liquor laws.
• Administrative & Communication: coordinate with leadership, set up/clean/break down bar and tables, report equipment issues, complete side work, maintain sanitation, prepare work areas, uniform compliance, assist guests with requests.
