Job summary

Hilton Garden Doheny is seeking a Bartender to provide exceptional service at the Doheny Surf Restaurant + Bar and Longboard Rooftop Lounge.

You will master menus, prepare drinks, attend to guests, restock inventory, and maintain bar sanitation. Requires prior hotel-serving experience, ability to work weekends/holidays, CA Food Handler certification, and RBS certification if applicable.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience in a hotel setting such as Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt
• Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work weekends, holidays and overnight shifts
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers
• CA Food handlers Card training provided upon hire
• RBS Certification will be required prior to the start of employment

Responsibilities

• Attend to guest needs by answering questions regarding food & beverage and facilities
• Maintain full knowledge of menus, recipes, and other pertinent information
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Record drink orders accurately and immediately after receipt into Micros PMS
• Ensure sanitation, organization, and proper food handling at the bar
• Set up, clean, and break down bar/tables across shifts
