Job summary

THOR Solutions, LLC in Portsmouth, VA is seeking a Mid-Level System Architect to develop and maintain architecture products for the Coast Guard CGEA program. You will build current and future state architectures, organize the architecture repository, and ensure data traceability within the Coast Guard's digital engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Five (5) years of demonstrated technical experience in Requirements and/or EA development, analysis, management, and documentation, including at least two (2) years with System Architect or equivalent modeling tool.
• Experience developing, formatting, proofreading and publishing EA documents per DHS/USCG compliance documents; familiarity with SysML/UAF.

Responsibilities

• Develop current- and future-state solution architectures in alignment with enterprise references and engineering standards.
• Maintain architecture data currency and publish architecture products, data, and analysis.
• Organize repository and ensure traceability between architecture layers.
• Extract, transform, and load architecture data from requirements and design documents.
• Analyze solution architecture for risks and compliance with C5I architecture standards.
• Generate reports and publish products to a web CMS; support standard CGEA templates.
