Piper Companies is seeking an Interdisciplinary Engineer to support Coast Guard initiatives in Juneau, AK. The role offers a signing bonus and relocation assistance, with a strong focus on civil, electrical, mechanical, and structural engineering deliverables.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience, a BA/BS in a related field, and proficiency in AutoCAD tools. A PE license is desirable, and relocation is required for this position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in civil, electrical, mechanical, or structural engineering.
• Experience with National Codes and mechanical sub-disciplines required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or related licensure desirable.
• Strong experience using AutoCAD is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide civil engineering services in support of Coast Guard initiatives
• Conduct comprehensive technical reviews of professional studies, reports and analysis
• Provide technical reviews and review comments for project designs, including Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build efforts
• Provide technical responses for A/E and contractor requests for information and coordinates
