Looking for a candidate that can assist with engineering research, engineering education, and community engagement activities related to the development and implementation of virtual laboratory and AI‑supported engineering learning environments. Responsibilities include technical documentation, project coordination, development and review of curricular and outreach materials, participation in piloting and evaluation activities for student learning environments, support of outreach initiatives, and assistance with program organization and assessment‑related activities.
This appointment supports short‑term, project‑specific engineering research and community engagement activities during Summer 2026. The work is temporary in nature, tied to externally funded and programmatic activities with defined start and end dates, and requires flexible student support aligned with ongoing summer research and program implementation timelines. The appointment further supports broader impact objectives associated with the research and community engagement activities by providing experiential learning, mentorship, outreach, and research participation opportunities for students and young individuals interested in pursuing engineering and STEM pathways.
