Job summary

Pathstream, a remote-first company in the Operations group, is seeking an Operations Lead for Coaching. You will shape how we recruit, onboard, equip, and manage coaches, writing and refining the tools and playbooks as the team grows.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in operations, project management, consulting, or similar roles, preferably in fast-moving environments.
• Proven track record of building or rebuilding a process or system with measurable results.
• Experience automating tasks, templating processes, or removing bottlenecks.
• Comfort with data: spreadsheets, databases, dashboards; use numbers to inform operations.
• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple moving parts and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; cross-team collaboration and trust.
• Passion for education, coaching, or helping people grow at work.

Responsibilities

• Build the onboarding engine to take a new coach from offer to first learner call quickly and at scale (3x today).
• Own the coach operating system: tools, access, partner context, and policies.
• Identify bottlenecks, diagnose root causes, and ship durable automated fixes over quick workarounds.
• Maintain clean databases and key metrics to support staffing and program decisions.
• Turn coach feedback into strategic system and process updates.
• Collaborate with Program and Client Success to staff engagements and elevate coaching as a strategic lever.
• Help design recruitment and management processes as the team grows.
