Adrian Public Schools in Adrian, MI invites applications for a dedicated Middle School Girls Basketball Coach at Springbrook Middle School to develop fundamentals, team concepts, and promote sportsmanship while supporting academic growth.

Responsibilities include planning practices 3:00-5:00 p.m., leading after-school sessions, coordinating with MS/HS programs, and scouting as needed. CPR/AED certification required or obtainable before season.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have playing and/or coaching experience at the high school level or higher in the sport of basketball.
• Candidates must be able to commit to practices each week day right after Middle School dismissal, and all games, which begin at 4:15.
• Candidates must be willing to work with the overall boys basketball program at the MS and HS during the offseason at the discretion of the head varsity coach.
• Candidates must also be willing to scout for the high school program on occasion at the request of the varsity head coach.
• Candidates must hold CPR/AED certification or be able to obtain this prior to the season.

SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and positive Middle School Girls Basketball Coach to lead our student-athletes. This position is responsible for teaching fundamental basketball skills, introducing team concepts, promoting good sportsmanship in a supportive environment, and emphasizing the importance of academic growth. The coach will develop and implement practice plans and openly communicate with all stakeholders.
