Job summary

You will supervise students in practice areas, locker rooms, buses, and throughout the season, maintaining professional relations with families and officials.

The role emphasizes patience, diplomacy, and a strong commitment to the school’s values, with eligibility for a half-season stipend prorated for days missed

Qualifications

• Certifications required per minimum requirements (coaching, concussion, health & wellness, mental health).
• CPR with AED and First Aid certifications required unless EMT license applies.
• Bloodborne pathogen training completed.
• Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card current.
• Immunization proof for measles and rubella submitted before start.

SUMMARY

Promote sportsmanship and foster good character in student-athletes. Provide for the safety and welfare of all participants. Supervise students in practice areas, locker rooms, busses, and at all times during the season. Exercise patience, tolerance, and diplomacy in relations with all players, parents, co-workers, contest officials, and spectators. Interscholastic activities are an extension of the classroom and as such, your actions, behavior, and interactions with our student-athletes should be reflective of this.

REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO START DATE

• Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

• LOCATION: Pueblo High School - Ajo & 12th Ave Area
• Season Dates - November into February
• HALF STIPEND to be prorated for days missed in the sports season due to late starts or early terminations.

This position is temporary and not eligible for district benefits.
