Heartbeat Music Ltd. is seeking a Co-Teacher in Escondido, CA to partner with the Lead Teacher and Site Supervisor in delivering developmentally appropriate instruction and consistent classroom operations. You will implement lesson plans, adapt activities to each child, and support family engagement while maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment and collaborating with classroom staff.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher
• Must meet education and experience requirements per permit matrix
• Must maintain required permits, certifications, and training
• CPR/First Aid certification and Mandated Reporter training required
• Background clearance, health screening, immunization, and other requirements

Responsibilities

• Partner with Site Supervisor to implement developmentally appropriate curriculum
• Support daily routines and classroom schedules
• Adapt activities to children's developmental needs
• Maintain active supervision of children at all times
• Address safety, supervision, and compliance concerns promptly
• Document observations and maintain classroom records
• Engage families and communicate about classroom activities
• Collaborate with Lead Teacher and staff to ensure coverage and operations
• Follow HBMPAA policies and licensing requirements
