Job summary

Jeremiah Program is seeking a full-time Child Development Center Teacher in Saint Paul, MN. The role focuses on warmth, patience, and development across infants to pre-kindergarten, using collaborative co-teach models and engaging families in the learning process.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of ECE experience, is willing to work with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, and may hold CPR/First Aid credentials.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Willingness to serve children from 6 weeks to 5 years old.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with computer skills (Microsoft Office, SharePoint).
• Passion for Jeremiah Program mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Develop and implement cross-cultural curriculum using ASQ and Teaching Strategies GOLD.
• Maintain accurate files required by DHS and licensing.
• Ensure children are supervised at all times in the classroom, hallways, and offsite.
• Communicate classroom activities daily with parents regarding development and behavior.
• Collaborate with families, co-teachers, and Family Coach to support learners.
• Assist with meals according to USDA/CACFP guidelines.
