Axis Health System seeks a Co-Responder Therapist to join a law enforcement/EMT response team in Delta or Montrose, CO. The role covers crisis intervention, de-escalation, risk assessment, and linkage to community resources during 911 responses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a recognized mental health field and at least 2 years of mental health experience.
• Preferred: Master's degree and Colorado license eligibility or licensure.
• Crisis intervention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond as a first responder to behavioral health crises in coordination with first responders.
• Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, brief counseling, and referrals.
• Documentation and linkage to community resources for continuity of care.
