Job summary

Textron Systems’ Hunt Valley team is seeking Software Engineer Co-Ops to contribute to the full software development life cycle on military vehicle systems. You will join a medium-sized engineering team and work on research and development initiatives, gaining hands-on experience.

Applicants should be pursuing a BS/MS in CS/CE/CIS/MIS or related field with interest in hardware/software integration and protocols. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's in CS/CE/CIS/MIS or related field.
• Hardware/software integration experience preferred.
• TCP/UDP/CAN/Serial protocols experience preferred.
• Mercurial, Git, Jira experience preferred.
• Linux and Windows development environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tasks related to the full software development life cycle including design, development, build, integration, test, and delivery.
• Working within a medium-sized software development team on tasks related to military vehicle system development.
