Qualifications

• Full-time student pursuing an undergraduate degree in a 4-year program.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher required.
• Available to work full-time for three alternating semesters: Spring 2027, Fall 2027, Summer 2028.
• Must work onsite in Atlanta, GA for the duration of the co-op.
• Strong interest in workplace safety, risk management, or corporate safety programs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to learn new software rapidly and manage documentation precisely.
• Co-op/internship is educational and not a guaranteed full-time role after graduation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer Corporate Safety programs and initiatives.
• Identify workplace hazards and support corrective action tracking.
• Assist with Fire and Life Safety audits and inspections.
• Support planning and coordination of fire drills and evacuation exercises.
• Assist with communications, scheduling, and post-drill documentation.
• Participate in emergency preparedness projects and awareness campaigns.
• Help update safety policies, procedures, and guidance materials.
• Develop presentations, reports, dashboards, and employee communications.
• Contribute to safety improvement initiatives and innovation projects.
• Support research, benchmarking, and continuous improvement efforts.
