Job summary

Hanover Consumer Coop Society is seeking a front-line team member to provide exceptional customer service, stock and organize retail areas, and support daily department operations at our Vermont location. You will handle phone inquiries, assist customers, and participate in maintaining stock quality and displays while supporting supervisors as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong teamwork, and familiarity with POS systems and Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

• Provide a high level of customer service and meet customer needs.
• Assist in daily department operations and daily procedures.
• Maintain product knowledge and stock areas to maximize sales.
• Handle front end duties including phone and service desk tasks.
• Prioritize accuracy in money handling and deposits.

Responsibilities

• Stocks, prepares, packages and maintains product for retail sales.
• Assist Supervisors when requested and/or required.
• Answer, page, and transfer phone calls promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain clean, organized, and accurate shelves and displays.
• Ensure compliance with safety and store procedures.
