Job summary

Toray Advanced Composites is seeking a Co-Op Student in Process Engineering for a part-time role in Fairfield, CA. The candidate is pursuing an engineering degree with strong Excel skills and a basic grasp of statistics, and must be able to lift up to 25 lbs while working 15–20 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in one of the specified engineering disciplines.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and a basic understanding of statistics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing SOPs, especially for the new 3 roll mill in the mix room.
• Create and implement training modules.
• Perform data mining and tabulation to support capacity balancing and present findings to customers.
• Update BOMs and Routes to improve planning and MUV tracking.
• Support day-to-day engineering and manufacturing operations during critical runs.
