The Brigham and Women's Hospital, a Mass General Brigham facility in Boston, is hiring a Per Diem Patient Care Assistant to support licensed personnel in daily living activities, vital signs, documentation, and patient comfort.

Onsite at 75 Francis Street, the role involves assisting with bathing, dressing, feeding, turning in bed, and communicating health concerns to nurses. A high school diploma is preferred and BLS is optional but favored.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• BLS - Generic - HR Only preferred.
• Patient Care Experience 0-1 year preferred.
• Understands hospital policies and procedures and communicates effectively with the interdisciplinary health care team.
• Strong communication with patients and families.

Responsabilidades

• Performs vital signs, weights/heights, intakes and outputs with accuracy and within established time frame.
• Completes all documentation in the medical record as required.
• Interacts with patients and their families effectively.
• Helps patients with basic hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing and feeding.
• Assists with turning and repositioning patients in bed and moving between bed and wheelchair.
• Reports health concerns to nurses promptly.
