Job summary

ASML US, LP. in Wilton, CT is seeking a co-op Mechatronics/Data Analysis engineer to develop MATLAB-based analysis tools for the DUV Reticle Stage, with emphasis on PSD analysis and visualization.

You will work with experienced mechatronics engineers to review existing methods, implement improvements, validate results against datasets, and improve tooling documentation for future users while gaining hands-on experience in engineering data analysis, signal processing, and software development.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a college junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience with MATLAB in coursework, projects, or internships is required.
• Familiarity with signal processing, PSD, and frequency-domain analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update MATLAB tools for analysis and visualization of Reticle Stage dynamic performance, focusing on PSD and frequency-domain analysis.
• Learn how existing analysis tools and methods work by reviewing MATLAB code and documentation.
• Collaborate with mechatronics engineers to gather requirements and uncover undocumented knowledge.
• Translate requirements into maintainable MATLAB functions, workflows, and visualizations.
• Validate new or modified analysis methods against known datasets and existing results.
• Investigate discrepancies and determine data processing, algorithm, or implementation causes.
• Improve usability and documentation for future engineers.
