Job summary

ESTAT Actuation is seeking a Mechanical Engineer co-op to contribute to the development of brake and clutch designs and to design custom robotics components using CAD and production tools.

You will engage in customer meetings, translate designs into production files, liaise with suppliers, perform quality control, and participate in testing and tool improvements, with opportunities to contribute to patent work.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Hands-on experience with CAD and rapid prototyping is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design CAD models and production files for brake and clutch components.
• Translate designs into production files and specifications.
• Place orders with suppliers and perform incoming/outgoing quality control.
• Assist with patent drafting and documenting design work.
• Test, validate, and iterate on robotic components and tools.
