Job summary

This paid co‑op offers real project exposure within Engine or Chassis groups, with opportunities to rotate through tasks, participate in training, and prepare for a full‑time career at Schaeffler.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher per semester.
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Self-driven with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Capable of long workstation sessions and light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Support design tasks including calculations, simulations, CAD modeling, analysis, and sizing.
• Perform mechanical testing of components or systems.
• Conduct teardown analysis with documentation and photos.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to complete tasks.
