Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is offering IT co-op positions for 3 to 6 months in a production environment. The program targets students in Information Technology or related fields who are entering their junior or senior year with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

You will work with the Site IT Leader to address business needs and gain hands-on experience. Responsibilities include incident escalation, IT hardware/software installation and troubleshooting, and researching complex technical problems.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a degree in Information Technology or similar field.
• Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Junior or senior year of college required.

Job description

Seeking 3 month and 6 month CO-OPs who would like to gain real life experience in informational technology.

This is open to students pursuing a degree in Information Technology or similar field and must be going into their junior or senior year of college. Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA

This position will work closely with our Site IT Leader to meet business needs.

Tasks include:

• Escalation of issues, and incident resolution.
• Installation, configuration and troubleshooting for IT hardware and software
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting in a manufacturing production environment.
• Help to research complex technical problems.
• Experience with a help desk environment is a plus.

• For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $21.00 to $23.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors.
• For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1.5X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter.
• Employees will receive 0 hours paid time off every year.
• Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays.
• Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
• Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
