Bloomingfoods Co-op in Bloomington is seeking team members to provide outstanding customer service, stock and prep items, and support daily store operations in a community-owned grocery environment.

You will help with receiving, stocking, deli preparation, and maintaining clean, organized spaces while adhering to co-op policies and safety standards. Training and a supportive team culture are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Lift up to 50 lbs, reach, bend, and climb.
• Willingness to work in coolers and freezers.
• Willingness to work outside in the elements.
• Regular, predictable attendance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Windows 7 operating system.

Responsabilités

• Provide internal and external customers with excellent service at all times.
• Educate non-member customers about the co-op business model, mission, values, and cooperative ownership advantages.
• Inspect incoming deliveries for damage, expiration dates, and quality; maintain organized displays.
• Prepare in-house deli foods following established recipes and assemble items for the food bar.
• Follow co-op policies and perform opening/closing procedures and general store duties.
