Job summary

Teknor Apex seeks a motivated Co-op candidate to join its Corporate FP&A team in Pawtucket, RI. This role provides hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting, with the opportunity to develop Power BI dashboards and support decision making in a manufacturing context.

The candidate will be a current junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business, possessing strong analytical and communication skills and a strong eagerness to learn.

Qualifications

• Current junior or senior in a Bachelor's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to FP&A team.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Track and report on KPIs, comparing actual performance to budgeted or forecasted results.
• Develop, maintain and enhance PowerBI dashboards to visualize financial data and improve reporting efficiency.
• Perform routine and ad-hoc analyses to support business strategies and initiatives.
• Provide analytical support for benchmarking performance considering industry trends and economic factors.
• Support the team with data reconciliation, presentations, and process improvements.
